    IMT Article for Current Issue



Our IMTF at the 2005 State Conference at Ball State University was a great success! The NIMTA chapter presented a session on "Motivating the Private Music Student". Panelists: Nancy Cooper, Catharina Matthews, Connie Daley, Beverly Norton, and Jane McInnis each talked about different aspects of motivation in the private music studio.

A booklet entitled Pupil Saver Pieces was presented to all attendees of the session. This invaluable booklet listed titles of motivational pieces to use with students in the private lesson.
