Teacher Education Program Data Collection at Franklin College

| Accreditation of Teacher Education programs in the state of Indiana mandates the collection and tracking of extensive data for each student as they progress towards graduation. Franklin College has applied for and received Title II grant funding to develop a web-based system to manage this effort. Data the system will collect and track includes overall and content area grade point averages, comments and responses from numerous field experience evaluations, benchmark assessments and certification test scores. Provision will also be made for the creation of electronic portfolios consisting of student-created web pages, resumes and streamed video. A discussion of the relevant parameters and a demonstration of the system will be included in this presentation. |
