Guidelines for
Submitting Papers
General Information
You must register
for the conference to have your paper published in the conference
proceedings.

Make
the formatting as simple as possible, tabs and returns only. |
The proceedings has a
standard format style for all papers. Please limit excess formatting
like centering and full justification, and especially font and style
changes. The proceedings will be printed in Times New Roman 12 point.
Make sure that your title and headings are not marked for Table of
Content reference and that you do not use footnotes or endnotes.
Be sure to
include:
- Title
- Author
information: Name, department, school, address, phone, e-mail
address
- Headings
- Sub-headings
(as needed)
- Tables
(use plain tables between columns)
Spell check
your document thoroughly.
Printed
Materials
A printed
version should be formatted as a guide for heading and spacing
to give general layout guidance. It should be sent to:

sign and include the following statement with your printed paper:
"I hereby
grant ERIC non-exclusive permission to reproduce this document."
Graphics,
charts, and pictures
Due to the
variety of graphic formats and the size of graphic files, all
graphics to be included should be sent in print form only to the
above address. Please send large originals for the best quality
reproduction.
Electronic
Material
The proceedings
are being created on a PC, so send your document on a PC-formatted
disk if possible. The following list of submission possibilities
are ranked from most to least preferred.
- Email using
MIME-capable mail software. Include or attach your document
in
MS-Word
2002 or lower,
Rich
Text Format (RTF),
or
ASCII
(DOS) format
Send it to: psmith@saintmarys.edu.
Caution: If you use a MAC for E-mail, be sure to
use UUENCODE to send binary files.
- PC-formatted
disk - any of the above formats
Disks should
be sent to Peter Smith at the above address. To be safe, please
send a disk with your printed copy even if you have submitted
your paper by email.
