This presentation will examine the relationship between Pikeville College Education Program and its professional development school located in rural Pike County. The presenters will show how the use of laptop computers, obtained by the Booth Teacher Training Initiative, contributed to gains in overall learning of those public school students helped by Pikeville College education students. The Pikeville College Education students worked in this school, five days a week for the entire Fall 2004 semester. Results of this joint effort will be documented.
