It is a very expensive proposition to staff a support center 7 days a week 24 hours a day even with student worker wages. How do you go about building a model for the level of support you want, finding a partner for your plans and making it affordable for both students and the college.
Marygrove College embarked on finding ways to support the thousands of students in their distance learning program as well as their on-campus population use email, Blackboard and register and pay for classes online. This presentation will tell you what we learned along the way.
