Objective of this session is to introduce the audience to 2 of the advanced tools found in MS Excel. Many people know spreadsheet basics but until they have taught an advanced Excel class they are not aware of two of Excel’s most powerful tools- Solver and Pivot Tables. Content of this session is to demonstrate both tools. Solver would be used to arrive at a solution of a complicated problem. Pivot tables are demonstrated along with methods to correct and refine data in the pivot tables.
