Pre-conference Workshop:
Creative Imagination with Inspiration

    Carmen Springer-Davis, Casper College

    halfDayWkshp

Description:

This workshop will introduce the value of visual learning by using Inspiration software, “the premier tool to develop ideas and organize thinking” and the SMARTBoard, an interactive electronic whiteboard. Inspiration provides the tools to create a picture of ideas or concepts in the form of a diagram. It also provides an integrated outlining environment to help develop ideas into organized written documents. Inspiration’s combination of visual and linear thinking deepens understanding of concepts, increases memory retention, develops organizational skills and taps creativity. Who could use Inspiration beneficially? Anyone who wants to increase their productivity to quickly clarify, organize and communicate their thoughts and plans -- managers, entrepreneurs, teachers, pre-service teachers, administrative assistants, technicians and any visual learners. Inspiration easily creates lessons plans, project brainstorming, grant planning, flowcharts of systems or assignments, time lines, comparisons, contrasts and presentations. Bring a current project-in-progress so you can discover how Inspiration is used for brainstorming and planning.
